Dad was rushed to the ER straight from the doctors office today. I had just headed out on my bike ride on my way to a Dawnbreakers deepening when he called me. I rode to the hospital and have been sitting here at his side since. The ER doctor can't decide if he needs to be admitted for observation. Between the private doc being quick to react out of fear of being sued, and the hospital doc being quick to release out of fear of insurance pressure, I don't know who to listen to. I really want to go to that deepening cause I know how relaxing that can be. But of course dad wants me to sit at his side. So they decided they want to keep him. They'll keep an eye on his irregular heart rate and probably release him in the morning. I'm really struggling to just sit in this place. But thank god for this iPhone. More updates to come .....
